
APAC Regional Business Developer

The position of Director, APAC requires an individual with expertise in business development and a proven track record of success in the Asia-Pacific region.
Responsibilities include leading business development initiatives, driving a pipeline of companies, and winning listings on various exchanges.
- Develop sales strategies aligned with company objectives in Asian markets
- Stay informed on capital market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments in Asia
- Build brand awareness to identify and engage target companies, growing footprint and mindshare in the region
- Develop partnerships with PE/VC firms, lawyers, bankers, and other capital markets professionals who influence listing decisions
- Represent the organization at meetings and conferences, establishing key relationships
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required, with significant experience in business development and a strong track record of winning deals
- Strong knowledge and connections within the APAC region, with the ability to understand and integrate unique cultures and languages
- Self-starter with a strong sales background, developing sales metrics, business plans, and a disciplined sales methodology
- Experience in investment banking, consulting, or PE/VC firms is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Mandarin language
- Strong presentation skills with audiences of all seniority and public speaking experience
- Well-demonstrated analytical ability and experience interfacing with senior management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the broader APAC and International teams
