Job Purpose:

The position of Director, APAC requires an individual with expertise in business development and a proven track record of success in the Asia-Pacific region.

Responsibilities include leading business development initiatives, driving a pipeline of companies, and winning listings on various exchanges.

  • Develop sales strategies aligned with company objectives in Asian markets
  • Stay informed on capital market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments in Asia
  • Build brand awareness to identify and engage target companies, growing footprint and mindshare in the region
  • Develop partnerships with PE/VC firms, lawyers, bankers, and other capital markets professionals who influence listing decisions
  • Represent the organization at meetings and conferences, establishing key relationships

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with significant experience in business development and a strong track record of winning deals
  • Strong knowledge and connections within the APAC region, with the ability to understand and integrate unique cultures and languages
  • Self-starter with a strong sales background, developing sales metrics, business plans, and a disciplined sales methodology
  • Experience in investment banking, consulting, or PE/VC firms is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in Mandarin language
  • Strong presentation skills with audiences of all seniority and public speaking experience
  • Well-demonstrated analytical ability and experience interfacing with senior management
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of the broader APAC and International teams
