About the OpportunityYou will contribute to Esco Aster's CDMO mission, executing experiments in support of cell line generation and producing vaccine candidates and antibodies.
This role involves planning and executing key activities associated with cell line development, including molecular cloning, transcription, transfection, and characterization. You will maintain accurate batch records and results following GMP guidelines.
The ideal candidate has at least 1-2 years of related laboratory experience, including aseptic and mammalian cell culture techniques, and is skilled in troubleshooting and analyzing data. They possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform key activities associated with cell line development, including molecular cloning, transcription, transfection, single cell cloning, clone selection, characterization, and cell banking.
- Maintain accurate batch records and results following good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Analyze cell metabolites, medium components, etc. by bioanalysis.
- Prepare solutions and culture media.
- At least 1-2 years of related laboratory experience, including aseptic and mammalian cell culture techniques.
- Microbiology/Cell biology background.
- Experience with bioreactor systems.
- Good troubleshooting ability with cell lines.
- General laboratory skills, good pipetting skills, and experience with automation.
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
