Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Director, CEO Office Leader to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our APAC Management Board, you will be responsible for driving the business agenda and related activities and engagements. This role will also involve leading or coordinating strategic initiatives, including support for our company's growth strategy and other projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Management of CEO Office
  • Design and prioritize the APAC CEO's agenda and engagements, including coordinating and aligning required input for CEO's engagements, such as customer meetings and conferences.
  • Develop the APAC CEO's communications agenda in close partnership with our Corporate Communications team and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of DSC APAC Management Board meetings and reviews.
  • Deliver follow-ups on action items and ensure they are executed efficiently.
  • Facilitate communication between the CEO's office and internal departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Act as overall advisor to the APAC CEO and APMB.
  • Lead strategic projects in the region as required, including providing decision support to the DSC APAC CEO through data gathering, information analysis, making recommendations, and stakeholder management.
Environment, Social, Governance
  • Create stronger governance and program management across cross-functional teams within APAC, in line with global priorities.
  • Direct the ESG APAC portfolio and ensure coordination and alignment of different projects within the region.
  • Collaborate with global ESG teams to integrate APAC initiatives with global efforts, ensuring a cohesive strategy.
  • Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
Others
  • Support the Head of ESG, Taiwan & China Rep Office with strategic growth agenda development across her portfolio, working closely with respective country / product teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the CEO office and ESG functions.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the Strategy, Performance, Finance or Consulting in a multi-dimensional environment.
  • Proven cross-functional / department work experience.
  • Exposure to working within the APAC region is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ESG principles and best practices is highly desirable.
  • Language proficiency in business Mandarin would be a bonus.
