**Job Title:** Software Lead/Manager
**Description:
- Define the technical vision and strategy for software development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee product roadmaps to deliver value incrementally and efficiently, updating them as needed to meet evolving requirements.
- Develop a long-term technical plan, guiding engineers in their performance and professional growth through mentorship and feedback.
- Establish quality, reliability, and security strategies, identifying worthwhile initiatives and introducing practices and tools for a strong engineering culture.
- Lead recruitment efforts for senior roles, focusing on talent acquisition and team building.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with large, high-availability software systems.
- Hands-on experience with modern full-stack web application technologies on the frontend and Java/TypeScript on the backend.
- At least 5 years of management experience with a team of at least 5 direct reports.
