Job Description:

As Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing our team on day-to-day operations. You will work closely with our board to craft organisational goals and develop strategies to fulfill our mission and vision.

  • Organisation and Strategic Management:
    • Craft organisational goals and develop strategies to fulfill the mission and vision
  • Operational Management:
    • Lead and manage team on day-to-day operations
    • Work together with volunteers towards impactful programme outcome
    • Accountable for operational and fiscal integrity
    • Ensure proper governance systems and practices
  • Resource Development:
    • Raise Funds, explore and develop initiatives that are self-sustaining
    • Establish and build relationships with strategic partners in business, government and non-profit sectors
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Senior management and leadership experience, preferred in the social space sector; with proven track record in working with both internal and external stakeholders

Previous fundraising experience and strong donor relations skills would be useful

Experience working with Boards, armed with knowledge of governance/compliance regulations

Experience working with NGOs or non-profits in serving refugees and displaced persons would be an advantage

Strong written and oral communication skills
