Strategic Communications Leader

Enhance Singapore's peace and security through data-driven insights.

You lead a small team leveraging data science methods and techniques to support MINDEF/SAF's strategic communications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the derivation of data-driven insights and recommendations from the application of data science, integrated with social science insights, to study MINDEF/SAF's audiences and defence-related issues.
  • Translating complex data and technical findings into actionable insights for strategic communications practitioners and decision-makers.
  • Guiding the team in developing and maintaining the communications data architecture to support analysis and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Education in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Psychometrics, Operational Research or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in data science, analytics or communications, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and good presentation and communication skills.
