Clinical Counsellor

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Counsellor to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support our ASCAT Team under the Department of Psychiatry. The Clinical Counsellor will assist the program director in service planning and implementation of ASCAT, with both clinical and administrative duties. Key responsibilities include assisting in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of outreach, care process, referral, and follow-up workflow.

  • Establish partnerships with stakeholders like community partners and/or related agencies to build collaborative relationships and facilitate better care and support for clients and caregivers.
  • Develop and review work and communications workflows, including identification, referral, and escalation processes, as well as the development/update of the ASCAT service manual.
  • Provide supervision to the team to provide care and support, adhering to relevant ethical and legal guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Social Work is essential. Candidates with 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field will be considered advantageous.
