Role Summary:

As a Radiopharmaceutical Imaging Specialist, you will be part of the Nuclear Cardiac Imaging team.

You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to perform imaging procedures on patients for diagnostic interpretation.

Your responsibilities will include providing clear instructions to prepare patients, performing daily quality checks of the gamma cameras, ensuring procedures are carried out as per protocol, and processing image data.

This includes dispensing radioisotopes in the radiopharmacy lab, giving radioisotope tracer injections, and proper documentation of quality checks and radiopharmaceutical data.

You will also perform pharmacologic stress tests for patients under the supervision of a physician.

You are expected to participate in research programs and comply with radiation safety guidelines. Clinical training will be provided for successful candidates.

Requirements
  • Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology/Diagnostic Radiography/Radiation Therapy
  • Valid R1 License from the Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science Department, National Environment Agency Singapore
  • A team player with good communication skills
Documentation

You need to have documented proof of:

  • Measles (or Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity;
  • Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination taken during the preceding 10 years at the prevailing point of reference as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act.
