Job Description:

You will be part of a Nuclear Cardiac Imaging team to prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. You are responsible for providing clear instructions, performing quality checks of gamma cameras, ensuring procedures follow protocol, and processing image data.

This includes dispensing radioisotopes in the radiopharmacy lab, giving tracer injections, and documenting quality checks and radiopharmaceutical data. You will also perform pharmacologic stress tests under physician supervision and participate in research programs while adhering to radiation safety guidelines. Clinical training is provided for successful candidates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Diagnostic Radiography, or Radiation Therapy is required. Additionally, you must hold a valid R1 License from the Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science Department and have good communication skills as a team player.

Benefits:

Clinical training is provided, and applicants without certain vaccinations are welcome to apply if they commit to completing them before work commencement.

Others:

Measles vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity is mandatory. Diphtheria (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccination taken within the preceding 10 years is also required for all healthcare workers.
