Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Imaging Specialist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services, including CT scans, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy, and Theatre Radiography.
The Imaging Specialist will work closely with the Manager and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality imaging services to patients. This includes conducting special examinations, maintaining equipment, and participating in quality assurance and performance appraisal activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides radiography services in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
- Conducts special examinations such as CT Scan, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy and Theatre Radiography.
- Liaises with and accepts advice from the Manager.
- Assists the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process.
- Assists in the care and maintenance of Ultrasound and X-ray machines and radiographic equipment.
- Participates in departmental activities such as quality assurance and performance appraisal.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Science in Radiography or Diploma from College of Radiographers (UK) or equivalent . You should also be registered with AHPC and have minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital. Additionally, you should be computer literate and able to cover on-call duties as rostered.
