Senior Radiochemist Position

We invite applications for a Senior Research Radiochemist to join our team at the Department of Clinical Imaging Research Centre (CIRC) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiochemistry and a proven track record in leading research projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing complex radiochemistry projects, mentoring junior researchers, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments for medical imaging and cancer therapy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of radiochemists and research scientists to drive innovation and excellence in radiochemical synthesis and characterization.
  • Develop and implement strategies for designing, synthesizing, and characterizing novel radiopharmaceuticals with diagnostic and therapeutic applications.
  • Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other relevant guidelines.

Requirements:

  • PhD/MSc in Radiochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in radiopharmaceutical research and development, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiochemical synthesis, purification techniques, and characterization methods for radiopharmaceuticals.
