System Integration Specialist

This role is an entry-level position that focuses on learning and developing skills to work closely with the Systems Integration team. The System Integration Specialist will learn to configure, install, and troubleshoot systems, working jointly with the Implementation Engineering team to meet client requirements.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Learning the ability to own portions of an installation, break/fix incidents, and problem management during project lifecycle.
  • Functioning jointly with the Implementation Engineering team to meet client requirements.
  • Configuring and installing less complex systems.
  • Troubleshooting less complex break/fix events during project lifecycle.
  • Providing support and working alongside Senior Associates and other senior support engineers.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:

  • Relevant proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, M365, O365, Exchange, Exchange Online, SCCM, Intune, Teams, Azure, Windows Server, and Windows Desktop.
  • A basic understanding and appreciation of technical design principles.
  • The ability to develop an understanding of fundamental project and administration processes.
  • A strong learning orientation.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrating a client service orientation.
  • A hands-on proactive approach.

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-100, MS-101), Microsoft 365 Certified - Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-100, MD-101), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Training & Certification (AZ-900), and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Server.

Required experience:

  • Entry-level experience in technical implementation engineering, specific to End-User Compute.
