About Etonhouse International Holdings
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Etonhouse International Holdings. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our school's facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of the school compound to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance;
- Plan and execute regular preventive maintenance of facilities, including aircon servicing, kitchen equipment maintenance, and painting;
- Handle maintenance requests, update records, and monitor response times;
- Manage maintenance cash floats and order hardware and materials;
- Handle feedback from principals and teachers, providing prompt responses within the same day;
- Adhere to safety and standard operating procedures, as well as workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines;
- Conduct WSH training for school cleaning and support staff, maintaining training records;
- Work with the management team to plan and execute school events, such as open house, concerts, and graduation ceremonies;
- Supervise contractors, security personnel, and in-house cleaners, ensuring full attendance and proper records;
- Provide coverage for duties in case of absence of school cleaning staff;
- Monitor performance of contract cleaning staff to ensure high cleaning standards and safe storage of equipment and chemicals;
- Manage external vendors and contractors for on-site maintenance works and contracts;
- Evaluate maintenance activities against safety and environmental regulations;
- Liaise with government authorities, such as BCA, NEA, and URA;
- Undertake periodic projects and works assigned by management;
- Handle procurement of maintenance or minor renovation works related to school facilities;
- Identify training needs of employees, source suitable courses, and submit requisitions to HR;
- Maintain training records of all staff who attended/completed training;
- Prepare annual training plans for maintenance and support staff;
- Be responsible for logistics and facilities management, including equipment and inventory related to program delivery;
- Assist in internal events planning and undertake other duties assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possess Diploma in Building Services or Facilities Management;
- At least 3 years of related work experience, preferably in a school environment or similar;
- Self-driven and committed individual with excellent follow-up skills;
- Results-oriented and able to work under pressure;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
