Project Development Manager Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects from inception to completion. Your primary role involves managing multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely submission of documents and materials, and coordinating with various stakeholders, including customers, consultants, owners, third parties, suppliers, and internal team members.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful outcomes
  • Coordinate with key personnel, including site supervisors, construction managers, and superintendents, for site work activities, installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Maintain and update project schedules regularly, preparing weekly and monthly progress reports for internal and customer purposes
  • Participate in regular customer meetings, proactively manage customer expectations, and prepare necessary submissions/agenda/minutes of meeting
  • Ensure project cost is managed within allocated parameters and maintain a change order log
  • Prepare progress claims timely, follow up for approval, and maintain a progress claim summary report
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • More than 3 years of project management experience in a related field
  • Experience in handling multiple projects concurrently
  • Effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner

You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience with factory acceptance testing, pre-punch list walk-throughs, clearing punch list defects, and providing training to customers for necessary equipment is highly desirable.
