Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of an Infrastructure Automation Specialist. This position involves providing comprehensive DevSecOps BAU support for applications, creating and maintaining Terraform Infrastructure as Code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to migrate or implement applications in the GCC region.

Required Skills:

  • Cloud Computing: We require expertise in cloud computing skills to deploy upgrades and fixes using AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Continuous Integration/Deployment: The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing CI/CD processes and tools to enable agile teams to deliver quality software based on user feedback.
  • Automation: We seek a developer who can create scripts to automate build, software release, application deployment, and system management.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively with team members to improve engineering tools, systems, and procedures.
  • Vulnerability Management: Experience in conducting automated system-level vulnerability security scans, hardening systems and applications, and liaising with third-party software and cloud vendors to manage and resolve incidents is essential.
  • Documentation: Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation is a key responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LINUX/Windows Systems Administration: Past experience in LINUX/Windows systems administration.
  • DevOps Tools: Knowledge in configuring DevOps tools such as GIT, JENKINS, SONARQUBE, NEXUS, and NEXUS IQ.
  • Container Platforms: Experience in container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, and Quay.
  • AWS Cloud Services: Knowledge in AWS cloud services configuration such as EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
  • Virtualisation/Container Technology: Past experience in virtualisation/container technology and setting up continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and tools.
  • Application Development: Knowledge in application development and setting up middleware.
  • Networking Protocols: Understanding of networking protocols and services such as SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing.
  • Databases: Knowledge in setting up and maintaining databases.
