Automation Expert Lead

This position serves as a catalyst for change, driving efficiency and innovation in logistics operations across the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities- Lead development and execution of automation strategies and pilots across warehousing, transport, and support functions.
- Evaluate, select, and implement mechanical automation technologies, including robotics, conveyor systems, and automated storage and retrieval systems.
- Champion process automation initiatives using RPA, digital workflows, and AI-driven solutions.
- Build strong business cases for automation investment, including ROI modelling and risk assessments.
- Establish and lead project teams to deliver automation initiatives from concept through deployment.
- Partner with IT, operations, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
- Track performance metrics and continuously improve automation deployments.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in logistics automation and identify future opportunities.
- Automation experience in logistics operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation technologies.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to build strong business cases for automation investment.
