The Shipping Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in facilitating seamless export processes by managing pre- and post-shipment documents.
This position involves staying informed about changes in international trade and shipping regulations, identifying compliance risks, and implementing procedures to mitigate these issues.
To succeed, you will collaborate with internal teams, communicate effectively with customers and external parties, and analyze documentation workflows to identify inefficiencies.
The ideal candidate will possess a higher diploma or professional certifications, at least 5 years of experience in export documentation, and great knowledge of export regulations and compliance. Proficiency in export documentation software is essential.
Main Responsibilities:- Handle pre- and post-shipment documents according to customer requirements.
- Stay updated on international trade and shipping regulations.
- Identify and address compliance risks related to shipping documents.
- Implement procedures to mitigate compliance issues and ensure accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams for smooth export processes.
