Export Operations Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Export Operations Specialist.

This role is responsible for providing operational support and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of export documentation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing export documentation accurately and promptly for customers
  • Ensuring all documentations (billing invoices, reports, AWBs, etc.) are complete, scanned in e.doc, properly indicated, and accompany with shipments
  • Checking that all shipments checklists are completed, scanned, filed, and attached with the shipments as per IATA rules and regulations
  • Meeting all Pharmaceutical & Healthcare requirements as per GDP/GDPMDS regulations and directives as required
  • Completing DAYEND closing report at end of the day
  • Reviewing shipment events data and shipment manifests are updated timely and accurately to meet Operational Performance Audit objective
  • Ensuring all shipments pre-alert documentations are sent to customers and destination offices promptly
  • Coodinating with Airlines terminal and warehouse vendor staff for any shipment dispute, discrepancy etc
  • Communicating with customer service team on any issues pertaining to rates, destination, and shipping instruction errors
  • Providing 24 hrs service to include after office hours, holidays, and weekends for Urgent/Aircraft on Ground (AOG) shipments arrangements
  • Performing shift work and rostered duties
  • Declaring all different types of AOG customers shipping permits compliance with customs rules and regulations
  • Taking up additional tasks as required meeting department's needs

  • Good organization skills with eye for details
  • Possess initiative and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Working Hours

5 day's work weeks with 1 off day and 1 rest day within a calendar week. Shift Schedule Day/Hours may vary as follow: Roster pm - 4.00am (1-hour lunch break) for 4 days, 06.30pm - 3.30am (1-hour lunch break) for 1 day, Roster pm am (1-hour dinner break) for 4 days, 08.30pm am (1-hour dinner break) for 1 day.
