Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

  • A Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., solid oxide fuel cells, defect chemistry, high temperature catalysis).
  • At least 3 years of experience in proton-conducting SOFCs.
  • Proficiency in the fabrication and characterization of SOFCs, including TEM analysis.
  • Strong expertise in defect chemistry and solid-state ionics.
  • Experience with materials characterization tools such as SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, and FIB.
  • Familiarity with hydrogen carrier fuels, particularly ammonia, and related decomposition processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
