Backend Infrastructure Developer

We are looking for a skilled Backend Infrastructure Developer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing a strong and robust backend infrastructure that supports our fast-paced search product.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of our search product, including building scalable and high-performance backend services, optimizing system performance, and ensuring service stability. You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving our existing search architecture, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other components.

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent problem-analysis and -solving skills, as well as experience in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications. You should also be proficient in coding, data structure, and basic algorithms, and have good team communication and collaboration skills.

Beyond technical skills, we are looking for individuals who are self-driven, intellectually curious, open-minded, and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and high-performance backend services
  • Optimize system performance and ensure service stability
  • Maintain and improve existing search architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications
  • Excellent problem-analysis and -solving skills
  • Proficient in coding, data structure, and basic algorithms
  • Good team communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good understanding of modern search systems and how they can be evolved
  • Industry experience in building consumer-facing search products
  • Experience in building medium-size backend technical teams from scratch
