Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Director to lead and oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operations of a global container vessel fleet. This key leadership role is focused on ensuring high standards of performance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marine operations, including both sea-going and shore-based roles, with a strong background in leadership and team management. They will be responsible for supervising daily marine operations, monitoring vessel performance, and ensuring readiness of vessels through proper certification, audits, safety drills, and maintenance coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily marine operations for container vessels, ensuring compliance with international and local maritime regulations.
  • Monitor vessel performance, fuel efficiency, voyage planning, and cost control.
  • Ensure readiness of vessels through proper certification, audits, safety drills, and maintenance coordination.


Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field, and hold a Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 1 – Master Mariner or Chief Engineer. A minimum of 10 years of experience in marine operations is required, with proven leadership capabilities and strong decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
