Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Professional to join our team. As a Senior Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our material handling equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular inspections of packaging/conveying equipment, facilities, and electrical systems
  • Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on packaging equipment and facilities
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on various equipment
  • Responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and ensuring quick recovery to operational status
  • Utilizing Predictive Maintenance to analyze and minimize equipment downtime
  • Effectively using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to investigate part failures
  • Organizing and executing planned shutdown maintenance
  • Leading a team of maintenance technicians and coordinating with vendors for fabrication work
  • Managing the inventory of critical spare parts for equipment
  • Overseeing and documenting the commissioning of new equipment
  • Recording maintenance activities on works orders and providing daily updates to superiors
  • Generating and preparing reports for management presentations
  • Procuring parts from service vendors as necessary
  • Assessing risks and hazards associated with maintenance jobs
  • Guiding the team in Root Cause Analysis and collaborating with the Operational Team on Failure Analysis
  • Leading projects aimed at continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to new technicians
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and electrical systems
  • A strong understanding of Predictive Maintenance and CMMS systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid driver's license
