Front Desk Representative Job Summary

The Guest Service Agent is the first point of contact for guests, providing top-notch service and support in managing day-to-day operations within the reception area.

This role ensures a warm welcome for all guests and fosters a positive experience throughout their stay.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality service to guests by responding promptly and efficiently to their requests during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
  • Provide personalized experiences for all guests, including VIPs, with tailored greetings and introductions to hotel facilities.
  • Assist guests in the lobby during busy periods and whenever required, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience.
  • Collect guest feedback in the lobby, updating the Guest Comments in the Opera Guest History.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby, with attention to detail and a focus on excellent customer service.
  • Implement strict security procedures, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to accounting protocols.
  • Utilize every opportunity to promote hotel facilities, leveraging sound product knowledge and selling skills to maximize sales.
  • Perform reception duties as required, ensuring a smooth and timely check-in and check-out process for all guests.
  • Follow up on guest requests promptly and efficiently throughout their stay, tracing any issues and resolving them effectively.
  • Provide guests with accurate and in-depth information upon request, showcasing expertise in products, services, pricing, special promotional offers, and events.
Requirements
  • Degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
