Legal Counsel - International Contract Manager

This role involves providing legal counsel to support the contract management process across various regions, with a focus on ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will be responsible for advising operational teams on contractual structures and drafting/negotiating contracts with clients/partners/subcontractors/suppliers.

• Advise operational teams on legally relevant contractual structures contributing to offers competitiveness and in line with local regulations,
• Draft and negotiate contracts with clients / partners / subcontractors / suppliers while ensuring consistency of their contractual and financial content with Thales' interests,
• Participate in risk analysis process and construction of mitigation plans with operations help possibly estimating financial provisions for risks such as delay if necessary,
• Prepare and negotiate cooperation agreements support business development (LOI, MOU, Consortium Agreement, JV Agreements, etc.),
• Provide support to purchasing for definition of contractual clauses to be flowed down in subcontracting contracts as well as potential support during negotiation,
• Prepare and present all review documentation related to bid/offer in line with applicable review and approval process including clear recommendations,

• Bachelor's degree in Business Law or from Business School complemented by Specialization in Law,
• Minimum 8-12 years proven experience in legal counsel or lawyer position in international environment,
• Perfect command of English language verbal and written mandatory as there will be lot of coordination needed to be done with different stakeholders across globe,
• Strong proactivity towards stakeholders good ability to manage priorities analytical synthesis skills assess situations accurately propose pragmatic solutions,
• Good listening communication skills keen to work in diverse teams inter-cultural awareness interest full mastery of IT tools data exchange platforms Excel Word PowerPoint

• Contribute to implementation of Group's compliance program actions assist compliance officer in implementing all pillars of program Antitrust Anticorruption GDPR Trade compliance Duty of vigilance,
• Perform analyze implement update screening due diligence files of any Third Party with whom Thales wish to enter into contractual relationship in close coordination with competent Compliance officer as well as other relevant stakeholders business capture leaders country directors local functions concerned Thales business units according to applicable Third Party Integrity Assessment Instruction report identified situations non-compliance which require definition corrective action plan and/or reporting Chief Compliance Officer VP Legal Contract TNSEA,
