Reliability Engineering Manager

To succeed in this role, you will lead a team of senior engineers and engineers to achieve corporate goals in Reliability.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing reliability analysis and lab support for all company technologies and customer issues, as well as developing corporate-wide standards and strategies.
  • Planning and implementing routes for emerging technologies such as SiPh, NVRAM, and High Voltage, while external branding through IP and conferences.
  • Leading, mentoring, and coaching the team to achieve corporate goals in front-end-of-line (FEOL) device-level reliability. You will plan and execute training to build up the team's technical expertise and soft skills.
  • Establishing reliability test methodologies to assess reliability failure mechanisms and lifetime. Providing reliability design guidelines for IC designers is also a crucial aspect of this role.
  • Defining and executing benchmarked reliability test plans for new process qualification, process reliability monitoring (PRM), change requests, and line issues.
  • Driving effective corrective action/preventive action (CA/PA) on reliability failures and field returns.
  • Ensuring reliability assessment excellence in terms of cycle time, data integrity, and work procedures.
  • Driving conformance to quality certification standards requirements.
  • Establishing capability for Rel testing for new/advanced technology.
  • Supporting customer engagement in reliability aspects, including providing reliability presentations for customer visits and audits. Participating in reliability risk assessment meetings with customers is also required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Engineering (Electronics, Materials or Physics) or Science.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in reliability tests.
  • Knowledge of wafer fabrication & ISO9000/QS9000/TS16949 is an advantage. Knowledge of MOS Device Physics & Reliability Statistics, Reliability Test-Chip Layout Design, Minitab, JMP, FMEA, 8D, etc., is also beneficial.

  • Able to work under tight project timelines.
