Deep Tech Commercial Director

As the deep tech powerhouse, we spearhead transformative projects to solve the toughest scientific and engineering challenges, to create new-to-the-world technologies, services and products.

Our approach focuses on building long-term client relationships based on trust. We're seeking a self-starter who can identify opportunities, close deals and establish strategic relationships with key decision-makers across the region.

  • Proactively engage with clients to leverage our expertise in Deep Tech innovation and Advisory services.
  • Collaborate with our teams to develop and execute a strong go-to-market strategy, identifying high-value opportunities and converting them into revenue-generating projects.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with decision-makers, influencing their innovation and investment strategies.
  • Understand client aspirations and drive growth by applying science and technology to solve business problems.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, utilizing our deep consulting, scientific and engineering skills.
  • Expand existing accounts by identifying new areas where we can deliver additional Deep Tech consulting and broader new technology development services.
  • Represent our business insight through thought leadership pieces and industry events, aligning with our overall strategy.
  • Mentor and coach team members to increase consultancy skills and client understanding.

To succeed, you'll need a proven track record of hunting and closing new business in consulting, technology services or innovation advisory. You'll also require an established network in Singapore and the APAC region at decision-maker level, as well as a deep understanding of business drivers and challenges in at least one of our core sectors.

Requirements
  • A strong, proven track record of winning and expanding new accounts.
  • An established network in Singapore and the APAC region at decision-maker level.
  • Deep understanding of business drivers and challenges in at least one of our core sectors.
  • Experience structuring, selling and delivering complex, high-value consulting and/or technology innovation projects.
  • Strong commercial acumen with significant experience in managing the boundary between technology and business objectives.
  • Previous experience working in a consultancy or other 'fee for service' organisation is essential.
  • An excellent degree in a commercial and/or technical/science discipline.
