Lab Manager
to oversee the daily operations, safety, and efficiency of our shared lab space at the CREATE building. From advanced materials and biotech to robotics and clean energy, you'll be enabling the work of 40+ ventures that are building Singapore's science-driven future.
As Lab Manager, you'll be the backbone of our facility—ensuring that it runs smoothly, safely, and strategically to support innovation at scale. This is a chance to shape the culture and operations of a national lab incubator at the heart of Singapore's deep-tech ecosystem. Be part of a

to grow deep-tech ventures from lab to market and shape Singapore's only dedicated lab incubator for startups.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily lab operations to ensure a highly organized, efficient, and productive environment.
Implement and manage lab policies, SOPs, workflows, and access control systems.
Lead safety and compliance efforts, including inspections, audits, risk assessments, and user training.
Manage lab equipment, calibration, inventory, consumables, and procurement planning.
Coordinate lab access, onboarding, and orientation for startup teams and researchers.
Serve as the key point of contact for lab-related issues, user support, and operational troubleshooting.
Liaise with internal teams and external regulators during audits and inspections.
Drive continuous improvement in operations, safety culture, and user experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline (e.g., chemistry, biology, materials science, environmental engineering).
5–8 years of lab operations experience, including at least 3 years in lab management or supervisory roles.
Proven expertise in lab facility management, equipment oversight, and operational planning.
Strong knowledge of lab safety regulations, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
Experience managing multi-user labs with diverse scientific activities.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Responsible, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
