Job Title: Fine Dining Service Crew Member

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front-of-House Service Staff member to enhance the fine dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, provide detailed information about seasonal course menus, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide seamless front-of-house service, ensuring guests feel welcome and valued throughout their dining experience.
  • Explain menu options, including Wagyu cuts, preparation methods, and ingredients, making recommendations based on guest preferences.
  • Serve wine, sake, and beverages with pairing suggestions, enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, posture, and language at all times, even under pressure.
  • Set and maintain tables according to fine dining standards, ensuring a clean and refined environment.
  • Assist international guests with attentive and culturally sensitive service, responding promptly to their needs.
  • Participate in pre-service briefings, service improvement discussions, and training sessions, continuously improving skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in fine dining restaurants, preferably Japanese or Michelin-rated establishments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Japanese cuisine, Wagyu, sake, wine, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Certifications such as Sommelier or Sake-related (e.g., WSET, Sake Diploma) are an advantage.
  • Fluent English communication skills; ability to converse in Mandarin or Japanese is an asset for liaising with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal and hospitality skills, with a calm and composed attitude under pressure.
  • Strong motivation to uphold high standards and contribute to a Michelin-level restaurant's success.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating a cooperative and adaptable attitude.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position with flexible scheduling.
  • Shift-based, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Standing and active service throughout shifts, with regular breaks to maintain energy levels.
  • Uniform provided, with staff meal included.
  • Opportunities for training in Japan or with Japanese chefs may be available, enhancing skills and expertise.
