Culinary Team Member

About Our Restaurant:

We are a new and upcoming fine dining restaurant concept helmed by an award-winning chef. Our goal is to provide a unique dining experience for our guests through high-end hospitality standards and exquisite cuisine.

This position will report to the Senior Chef and is located within walking distance from the city center.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist senior chefs in preparing dishes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
  2. Follow standard recipes and guidelines for food presentation, production, and portioning controls
  3. Store and label food products properly to prevent spoilage and wastage
  4. Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout the kitchen
  5. Ensure proper handling and maintenance of kitchen equipment

Requirements:

  1. Positive attitude towards culinary challenges
  2. Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, preparation, and procedures
  3. Prior experience working in a preopening team is advantageous
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Strong understanding and execution of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)
  7. Flexibility with work hours, including shifts, split shifts, weekends, and public holidays
