Senior Educational Leader Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Educational Leader to join our preschool team. As a key member of the leadership team, you will report directly to the Principal and play a central role in driving educational excellence and innovation.

As a Senior Educational Leader, you will be responsible for leading efforts in shaping the strategic direction and daily operations of our preschool. You will contribute to curriculum planning and staff development by mentoring educators on pedagogy, teaching methods, and the effective use of educational tools and resources.

Your expertise will help strengthen parent engagement, community partnerships, and talent management. Additionally, you will oversee the efficient use of center resources, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and expense management.

You will coordinate and execute center-wide programs, events, and initiatives, ensuring smooth and effective administrative operations while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of educational programs that meet the needs of children and families
  • Mentor and support educators in their professional growth and development
  • Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of center funds
  • Build and maintain relationships with parents, community partners, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to drive strategic direction and vision for the preschool

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) or a Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • 3-5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of ECDA regulations and the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Passionate about child development and early childhood education
