About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Due Diligence Agent to join our team in Singapore. As a key member of our Partnerships team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional due diligence support and onboarding experience to customers of Wise's partners who utilize our platform/API services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless due diligence support and onboarding experience for platform end-customers.
  • Review CDD/EDD documents and communicate with various departments to guarantee optimal speed for transfers.
  • Identify, gather data, and escalate product issues (bugs).
  • Provide daily feedback to specialists or team lead on onboarding, tooling, training, and mentoring.
  • Work with other Due Diligence teams to expand PDD coverage to all necessary regions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of different platform building blocks, verification models, customer models, country risks, and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies.
  • Perform Due Diligence on existing, new, and/or potential platform end-customers based on risk mitigation controls and certain trigger events.
  • Provide guidance and responses to daily inquiries from peers, front-line, and management regarding due diligence matters and case analysis.
  • Assess Risk level of referred profiles that may or may not meet the risk criteria expected from escalations, collaborating with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with updates and changes in Wise's internal risk-based approach to KYC/CDD.

Requirements

  • You are a Singaporean Citizen/Permanent Resident of Singapore (note that we will not be able to sponsor visas for this role).
  • Prior experience with KYC/DD for enterprise/business customers in a fintech/tech/banking environment is ideal.
  • Excellent written and verbal English, with other languages a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and self-organized.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion to build and manage cross-team relationships.
  • Punctual, independent, self-starter with the drive to get things done.
  • Strong knowledge of financial crime KYC/CDD operational processes (other FinCrime knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify risks associated with verification and areas of processes in need.
  • Ability to synthesize complex requests from multiple parties into tangible deliverables within relevant deadlines.
  • Understanding of Wise products and offerings, with the ability to differentiate customers by use case and clearly communicate details, needs, and reasons surrounding customer onboarding status.
