Job Title: IT Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Architect to oversee the design, implementation, and management of our organization's infrastructure. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, applications, and networks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement strategies to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of IBM iSeries hardware, OS/400 operating system, and associated software.
  • Strong knowledge of IT processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of iSeries application structure, operating system, installation specifications, troubleshooting, problem determination, and data restoration techniques.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience in implementing security measures.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good knowledge of SQL, CL, and MS Office Tools (including MS Access).
