Job Title: IT Infrastructure Architect

A challenging opportunity exists for a highly skilled IT infrastructure architect to design and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring robustness, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that ensure high availability, performance, and security across all systems
  • Monitor and optimize system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement upgrades as needed
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats
  • Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
  • Collaborate with other departments to support their technology needs and drive business outcomes

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in computer engineering or related field
  • Experience with Linux systems and ability to work with complex infrastructure environments
  • Experience with building and managing large-scale compute clusters in academic or industrial settings
  • Knowledge of high-performance networking and data storage concepts and technologies
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices to ensure the security of our systems
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
