Child Mental Health Specialist

As a dedicated Child Mental Health Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering person-centered, family-oriented, and recovery-focused services that make a lasting difference. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to ensure effective implementation of workflows and strategies that align with team goals.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide psychological interventions, including casework management, counseling, and caregiver support.
  • Collaborate with clients and caregivers to develop and review care plans that address mental, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Implement and review services to ensure alignment with strategic goals and core principles.

You will also contribute to programme evaluation by providing insights from clinical work to improve service delivery and outcomes. Additionally, you will support community outreach and advocacy initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and administrative skills for maintaining accurate client and programme records. They will be proficient in clinical assessment, therapeutic relationship-building, counseling, and casework management. A passion for mental health advocacy and commitment to creating inclusive communities are essential attributes for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters in Clinical Psychology or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct work experience working with youth and families, preferably in mental health settings.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to collaborate with stakeholders and community agencies.
