Senior Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with clients with complex physical, cognitive, or psychosocial needs. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centred interventions and empower clients and their families.

The successful candidate will be highly skilled in advanced occupational therapy practices and adept at working across diverse systems of care. They will also possess excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to lead case discussions, provide clinical guidance, and support team decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective clinical services, including comprehensive assessments, goal setting, and care plan development.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team to set person-centred goals and priorities for intervention.
  • Design and implement evidence-based care plans to address the unique and complex needs of each client.
  • Maintain and monitor client records related to service utilization in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.
  • Manage and maintain inventories of equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure availability and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Good Degree or Masters in Occupational Therapy.
  • Training in advanced assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Registered as Occupational Therapist under the Allied Health Professions Act.
  • Minimally 5 years as a practicing OT, with a focus on working with clients with complex physical, cognitive, or psychosocial needs.
