Job Title: Social Program Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Social Program Coordinator.

About the Role:

The primary focus of this role is to design, develop, and implement evidence-based social programs that promote positive youth development and strengthen family relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Design and Implementation: Develop program frameworks addressing unique service user and community group needs.
  • Sports and Arts-Based Programs: Design and deliver sports and arts-based programs fostering social skills, emotional intelligence, and academic achievement.
  • Needs Analysis and Environmental Scans: Conduct needs analysis and environmental scans to identify areas of improvement informing program design.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and professionals ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping: Manage and update program notes, case files, and administrative records in a clear and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • Experience: Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in child and youth care settings.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong program design and implementation skills including knowledge of evidence-based practices. Ability to engage diverse groups, build rapport, and establish trust. Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Cultural Competence: Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines while being sensitive to cultural differences and nuances.
