Job Title: Entrepreneurship Development Program Specialist

About the Role

The Assistant Manager for Youth Entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit amongst youths and supporting those embarking on their own entrepreneurial journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Committee Support: Provide administrative support to the Youth Entrepreneurship Sub-committee, ensuring seamless coordination of activities and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Institutes of Higher Learning and community organizations, to develop and implement programs that promote youth entrepreneurship.
  • Event Planning: Organize and execute the annual National Youth Entrepreneurship Awards (NYEA), showcasing the best entrepreneurial endeavors in the country.
  • Facilitating Connections: Facilitate connections between youths, entrepreneurs, and industry experts, providing developmental opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners, creating opportunities for collaborative projects and joint ventures.
  • Program Evaluation: Track the effectiveness of our youth entrepreneurship programs, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic changes.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as business, economics, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a similar capacity, with fresh graduates also encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated commitment to detail-oriented work and exceptional work ethics.
  • Passion for entrepreneurship and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas and trends.
