About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Programme Coordinator, leading the implementation of outreach plans and social activities for seniors. You will be responsible for developing and coordinating programmes that cater to the diverse needs of seniors, ensuring they receive support and resources to improve their quality of life.

Your role will involve:

  • Developing and implementing outreach plans to engage with seniors in identified blocks and private residences;
  • Coordinating social and health activities to promote senior well-being;
  • Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to assist in programme delivery;
  • Establishing relationships with local community-based services and resources to enhance programme outcomes;
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Programme Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement outreach plans and social activities for seniors, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives;
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support programme delivery;
  • Community Engagement: Establish relationships with local community-based services and resources to enhance programme outcomes;
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent qualification in any discipline;
  • WSQ Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Social Services;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Flexibility to work on weekends (alternating Saturdays) and some evenings;
