Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Pricing and Procurement Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be part of shaping the future of our sea freight product.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sea freight pricing and procurement, with a proven track record of successful carrier negotiations and strategic partnerships. They will be skilled in sourcing, cost optimization, and market trend analysis, with excellent interpersonal and networking skills.

The role involves developing and executing competitive sea freight procurement strategies, negotiating rates, contracts, and credit terms with carriers, and building and maintaining strong relationships with carrier HQs and regional offices.

The successful candidate will work closely with our product, sales, and office teams to ensure aligned and cost-effective procurement, and will provide expert input on pricing for tenders and large customer quotes.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the freight forwarding or shipping industry, with a strong focus on sea freight pricing and procurement
  • Proven track record in carrier negotiations and managing strategic partnerships
  • Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of industry dynamics
  • Skilled in sourcing, cost optimization, and reading market trends
  • Strong in data analysis, reporting, and translating insights into action
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills – able to build trust-based relationships internally and externally
  • Collaborative team player with high energy and a positive attitude
