Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Specialist to design and prototype compact, heat-resistant hardware for extreme environments.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and develop innovative solutions using thermal simulation tools and high-temp materials.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enclosure design, miniaturized hardware integration, and embedded platform development. Familiarity with IP65/ IP67 standards, fanless computing, and thermal shielding is essential.

This role involves designing hardware that can withstand temperatures of 250°C while maintaining internal electronics under 55°C. Experience with mechanical CAD, prototyping, and testing is required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create compact mechanical housing for operation at 250°C ambient conditions.
  • Integrate miniaturized components (compute, battery, sensors) for efficient performance.
  • Strip sensor casings and reassemble into custom mounts with thermal shielding.
  • Perform heat simulation, thermal insulation, and shock-resistance design.
  • Test hardware in specified sites and environments.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
  • Strong experience in heat-resistant enclosure design and miniaturized hardware integration.
  • Familiarity with thermal simulation tools (ANSYS, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Experience with IP65/ IP67 standards, fanless computing, and embedded design.


Safety features include internal temperature control, thermal protection, and environmental resistance making this system suitable for harsh environments.
