**Key Tasks**
- Product PCB design and enhancements
- Hardware circuit schematic design and PCB layout
- Design verification tests and troubleshooting

We are looking for an experienced hardware developer to join our growing team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY**:
Reporting directly and accountable to the Technical Manager on matters relating to all aspects of hardware development/enhancements of our Wireless Fiber Optic Interrogators.

Duties will include:
Product Development: Engage in development activities including component selection and sourcing, design/implementation of circuits, troubleshooting of designs, conducting validation tests, and creation of design/product documentation.

Product Assembly and Testing: Assist in device assembly (mechanical, PCBs, cabling and fiber optics) and system integration testing.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Possess a Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a hardware development role
- A Team Player and able to work independently
- Hands-on experience in embedded system hardware design with MCU, DC-DC regulators and I/O peripherals
- Hands-on experience in Schematic design, Multilayer PCB layout (including PCB footprints creation) and PCB fabrication
- Working knowledge of EMC design considerations
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent soldering skill
- Able to work within tight timelines
- Working knowledge of developing a product from concept to delivery (preferred)
