Designation: Hardware Engineer

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Hardware Engineer to lead and support the design, development, and lifecycle management of our medical hardware products.

This role is instrumental in advancing our pipeline of next-generation medical devices and bringing meaningful improvements to healthcare delivery.

Job Duties:

• Manage the full hardware product lifecycle — from concept, requirements gathering, design, prototyping, and verification, to commercialization and post-market support.

• Work cross-functionally with design, engineering, regulatory, and product team to ensure robust integration and delivery of Ultragreen's hardware products.

• Perform detailed hardware analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to enhance product reliability and performance.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation including test plans, procedures, and technical reports to support certification and quality control requirements.

• Drive process improvements and contribute to the refinement of hardware development workflows and standards.

• Support user acceptance testing and interface with stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

• Undertake additional duties related to medical hardware development as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Core Skills and Competencies:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience managing hardware development projects from design to market launch.

• Proven experience with fluorescence imaging systems and New Product Introduction (NPI) in a regulated environment.

• Strong knowledge of hardware design, components, interfaces (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), and integration with embedded systems.

• Familiarity with certification standards, regulatory compliance, and hardware quality assurance processes.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with meticulous attention to detail.

• Effective communication and documentation skills.

• Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Passionate about contributing to impactful healthcare technologies.

Preferred / Additional Skills:

• Experience working with or managing firmware/software SDKs.

• Exposure to imaging systems, optics, LiDAR, or Time-of-Flight (ToF) technologies.

• Knowledge of medical device standards (e.g., IEC and design controls is a plus.
