Aquaculture Geneticist and Genomic Specialist

A cutting-edge research position has become available at the Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory Ltd. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive environment focused on advancing the understanding of aquaculture genetics and genomics.
We are seeking a motivated and talented individual with expertise in QTL mapping and GWAS to join our lab. Key Responsibilities include:
- Conducting research in aquaculture genetics and genomics, focusing on quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping and genome-wide association studies (GWAS)
- Designing and executing experiments, analysing genomic data, and interpreting results
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and contributing to ongoing projects
- Preparing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presenting findings at scientific conferences
The ideal candidate should possess a PhD in Aquaculture Genetics and Genomics or a closely related field, demonstrated expertise in QTL mapping and GWAS, and proven ability to work independently and manage research projects effectively. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills are also essential.
