We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team in advancing the field of aquaculture genetics and genomics. Our research focuses on understanding genetic factors that influence aquatic species traits, aiming to improve sustainable aquaculture practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct advanced research in aquaculture genetics, focusing on quantitative trait loci (QTL) mapping and genome-wide association studies (GWAS)
- Design and execute experiments, analyze genomic data, and interpret results
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to ongoing projects
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific conferences
- PhD in Aquaculture Genetics and Genomics or a closely related field
- Demonstrated expertise in QTL mapping and GWAS
- Proven ability to work independently and manage research projects effectively
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
