Job Overview

This role entails overseeing technical aspects of structural installations, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Regularly inspect and supervise structural installation works to guarantee adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Ensure contractors adhere to approved plans, building codes, and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate with consultants to achieve project objectives regarding quality and timeframes.
  • Action promptly when issues arise regarding poor-quality materials or workmanship.
  • Implement instructions from engineers and ensure their execution.
  • Submit weekly site reports detailing project progress and performance.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience, with at least 5 years as a Resident Technical Officer.
  • Registration with IES as a Resident Technical Officer is necessary.
Key Competencies
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and assurance.
  • Supervise excavation, steel works, reinforced concrete, and pre-cast activities effectively.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and practices is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
