Internship Overview

At GroupM, the leading media investment firm globally and a part of WPP, we are responsible for a significant portion of the advertisements you encounter worldwide. We are excited to offer an internship program focused on various facets of media, including search, social, out-of-home, offline, and programmatic advertising, collaborating with industry-leading clients through our agencies: Mindshare, EssenceMediacom, Wavemaker, Xaxis, and mPlatform.

Interns will gain exposure to cutting-edge media innovations, learn from seasoned media professionals, and utilize top-tier tools across different media sectors. At GroupM APAC, we believe our people are our greatest asset, which is why we prioritize a culture of diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of media proposals
  • Analyze, manage, and report on campaign effectiveness
  • Facilitate seamless campaign execution, from processing bookings for approved media plans to coordinating copy calls and ensuring timely delivery of materials
  • Support initiatives in emerging media technologies and corporate processes

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Pursuing studies in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities
  • Capability to collaborate with teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Enthusiasm for learning about media planning and the media industry
