Overview

This internship position at GroupM offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of media investment. As the largest media investment firm globally, GroupM is part of WPP and plays a pivotal role in shaping advertising strategies worldwide.

Internship Details

The internship will cover various facets of media, including search, social media, out-of-home advertising, offline channels, and programmatic buying. Interns will collaborate with industry-leading clients through our esteemed agencies: Mindshare, EssenceMediacom, Wavemaker, Xaxis, and mPlatform.

Participants in this program will gain exposure to cutting-edge media innovations, receive mentorship from seasoned media professionals, and utilize top-tier tools across different media sectors. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of media proposals.
  • Analyze, manage, and report on campaign effectiveness.
  • Facilitate seamless campaign execution, including processing bookings for approved media plans, coordinating copy calls, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Support initiatives related to emerging media technologies and corporate processes.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Pursuing studies in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate with teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • A keen interest in media planning and the media industry.
