Job Title: Operations and Sustainability Specialist

Job Description
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a commercial building, ensuring efficient and safe maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption, waste, and environmental impact.
  • Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Lead awareness campaigns for green initiatives and develop strategies for reducing, reusing, and recycling.

Responsibilities also include monitoring utilities consumption, maintaining buildings systems, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve financial and operational targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Estate Management, Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Relevant experience in managing commercial buildings or mixed developments, preferably with Green Mark or LEEDS certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, organization, and team management, with a passion for sustainability and customer service.
