This Waste Reduction and Recycling Coordinator position is part of a team aiming to create a sustainable world-class airport. Initially, they will focus on collaborating with airport partners to promote waste segregation and optimize waste handling processes. Enhancements to building amenities and infrastructure will also be undertaken to better support waste reduction and recycling initiatives.

In the long term, the coordinator will conduct feasibility studies and work with solution providers to implement waste valorization and processing solutions. Flexibility is essential, as they may need to work outside office hours or perform shift duty when called upon. Strong project management and communication skills are vital for interacting with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

The ideal candidate should hold a good diploma/degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, or equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of experience in waste sortation, collection operations, or managing waste management services is required. Familiarity with Mandatory Waste Reporting is beneficial, and certification as a Zero Waste Manager is advantageous. Above all, the candidate should be passionate about the environment and knowledgeable about circular economy legislation.
