Head of Inclusion

The Head of Inclusion is a key leadership position responsible for developing and implementing the school's SEND strategy and policy.

  • Developing SEND Strategy
  • Leading the Inclusion Team
  • Assessing and Supporting Students with Additional Needs
  • Reporting on Student Progress
  • Maintaining Knowledge of SEND Developments

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement and review the school's SEND strategy and policy to ensure inclusive practices
  2. Lead the Inclusion Team to deliver training and support staff in working with students with additional needs
  3. Assess and provide individualized support to students with additional needs to enable them to access the curriculum
  4. Collect and analyze data on student progress and report to stakeholders
  5. Stay up-to-date with developments in SEND and apply this knowledge to inform practice

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate Diploma in Special Education and Counselling or Equivalent
  • Safeguarding (Child Protection) Training
  • At Least 8 Years' Post Qualification Experience
  • International School Experience in Singapore an Advantage
